A covalent organic framework (COF) anode with acid–alkaline co-tolerance, long cycle life, and high rate performance was developed for aqueous batteries. In their Research Article (e202218745), Haiyan Zhang, Chunyi Zhi, Haiming Lv et al. designed the robust linkage (-NH-) hydrogen bond network between -NH- H2O, which collectively improve chemical stability promote rapid conduction of H+/OH− by Grotthuss mechanism. Thus COF displays superior performance.
